For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom 8:38-39)
Rejection prevents one from giving or receiving love from God or from other people. Self-rejection and the fear of rejection are other related spirits. Rejection is also a doorkeeper. This spirit opens the door for other spirits to enter, including: fear, hurt, unforgiveness and bitterness.
There is also a spirit of rejection that forms in the womb because a child was unwanted or rejected during pregnancy.
All of us have experienced rejection in one form or another at some point in our life. People can be rejected because of their gender, race, economic status, body type, shape or for no apparent reason at all. Rejection is a major stronghold that has a hold on so many people today.
Lord Jesus, I release myself from the spirit of rejection. I am accepted in the Beloved. I am the chosen one of God in Christ Jesus. I release myself from self-rejection and self-sabotage. I release the spirit of fear and specifically the fear of people, their approval of me and the need to people please. I seek only to please You God. I release myself to fully receive the love of God and the love of others without fear. I close the door on rejection, fear, hurt, unforgiveness, bitterness and rebellion. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
